Sterling silver is generally, but not always, stamped sterling, ster or 925. If your piece is unmarked we may still be interested, but we will need to conduct a few tests to determine if your item is actually sterling silver. Our test will not harm or damage your item. We are also interested in purchasing coin silver which is 90% pure silver.
We typically offer up to 120% of the silver spot price for undamaged pieces in good condition. And we are happy to offer even more for desirable antique and collectible pieces. Find out what your silver is worth here.
We also purchase any broken, mismatched or single pieces of sterling silver jewelry as well as broken or damaged pieces of hollowware or flatware. Unfortunately, our offer will be less on these items because we will have to send them to be refined. We typically offer 50% of spot price for broken, damaged or mismatched items.
We do not buy silver plated flatware or hollowware. Those pieces may be marked E.P.N.S or E.P. indicating they are electro-plated silver over some other non-precious metal such as nickel or copper.
If you are not sure if the items you are thinking of selling are sterling or not, don't worry. We are happy to sort your items to find the sterling silver pieces. We will discuss your items with you so you know exactly what you have before we make an offer for your consideration. Read more about our process here.
Please do not clean your jewelry or silver before the consultation. Jewelry and silver can be damaged by certain cleaning techniques. Our staff is well-versed in proper cleaning of precious metals and can handle that when you arrive.
